Only HDFC did 2 enquiries for each card. Other banks did 1 for each.

Nope, all of them visa and all LTF. I had a Jet Sapphiro, which I cancelled last year, got a call from the retention team offering me normal Sapphiro as LTF so I agreed. A week later, 3 Sapphiros turned up in the mail and I have no clue why. Each with their own Dragonpass .

You know how some mand budhi sbi agents claim you will get it LTF and then fail to deliver, because there is no such thing to begin with, he just happen to catch such a guy and then made sure to escalate the hell out of it till sbi had to deliver on the agents promise.

Oh man, this is some next lebel play... I guess we can do this for other banks too, just somehow get the agents to commit for LTF in calls/mails before approval, and then use that XD

Yes, its very hard, its also very hard to pretend that its not your play while playing it too, but if and when you pull it off, its rewarding. You can hold overpriced SBI cards for LTF.

Dealing with SBI escalation team itself tiresome job, even more proud when results are in our favor. They always think that they're way over and above RBI itself and no one can touch it. Saw few mails where user requested for CIBIL enquiries, they themselves suggested you can go for 'Ombudsman' but we're not removing neither provide any reason due to internal criteria. And I saw many other tickets are still in pending even with RBI Ombudsman because in SBI no one cared about that ticket, they really are over and above RBI.

I don't know what ate you talking about but I believe that the rules that are laid out by RBI is very strict against any financial institution.

Problem is with us that we are not consistent while escalating, don't follow the proper escalation matrix, don't maintain the proper timeline while replying.

Even not being too optimistic, I strongly believe that every point could be turned out in our favor against every financial institution if there has been some violation against the commitment made.
