₹4,50,000 purchase on Amazon/Flipkart

Update : Guys I had approx 1600 amazon pay balance which was not working. I added 300 worth of amazon shopping voucher and it was available so technically it works. I can do it this way.

Now the only problem is I am scared about any consequences of this on my credit card or amazon account. Will it come as fraudulent activity? It's for my personal use only.

If the amount is 450k then i would recommend visit offline store, they would surely match the online prices and some extra discounts also considering the order amount
Yes, I will try this as well but I doubt they would accept multiple CC's for split payment because of their 1% MDR thing.

The friend should be fool and mad in friendship or should be big spender

Why he will do this...He himself might received IT notice for big spend if he is not a big spender...
No bro. IT notice might come, but won't be an issue. Lending credit card to a friend, is still personal and the same can be advocated, in case any IT notice comes.

Lending CC to any random strange guy met online for profit is different, and for friends and family it's entirely different scenario, if you can prove that the case was personal and you have made no fortune out of the same.

Actually it hasn't been released yet, going to launch in 2 weeks.

My highest limit CC is apay itself with 120k
Then Icici coral with 120k
SBI simply click 100k
Rest all are under 100k
Including Fkrt axis, RBL shoprite, RBL duet, idfc millennia, federal imperio, federal wave, indusind platinum, axis Neo, hdfc Swiggy
Approximate final price of each product??

I have the regular 10k account, is it possible to upgrade? I will close some of my other accounts for this as my experience with IDFC till now has been awesome.
Will be difficult, but there is an easy way.
Take any of your family member to IDFC Bank, create an account (10k or 25k variant as per the banks request) and do an IF of 3 Lakh via check/transfer and request them to raise the account to select account
Will be done in 3-5 days. Once raise you will get Select dc, use it for your spend.

Since your purchase amount is still above the monthly threshold of your upcoming spend, tell the BM to make your account and your parents/family members account which has been made select now, clubbed under family banking. Once you give consent to that, in 3-5 days your account will be also select.

You need not keep the 3 Lakh as such. Once both have been raised to select, you may use that money to purchase your product, or transfer to some other account.

Also, after 1 year, you may close your family members account, if no need. Why one year? To prevent any account closure charge.

Only keep your normal MAB (10k in your case).

After 1 year, you may

This is the easy way.

N.B : Traditional way is of keeping 3 L MAB, but from this FY they are strict in issuing select/wealth only if 3 L is maintained in the last 3 months prior to the ask. Hence will be time taking.

Note - I am doubtful if 10k variant is eligible for select/wealth. Ask your BM for the same.

Hey guys, I am about to make an electronic item purchase of 4,50,000 rupees on Amazon/flipkart (will decide the platform soon but 99% it's gonna be amazon). So I wanted to know which debit card is going to be the best?

Ihave both apay and fkrt credit cards but the limit isn't sufficient for it so can't get the 5% cashback sadly. I have savings accounts in almost all banks so please tell me by which method I could get the most amount of cashback? (Could be anything like reward points etf.) HDFC business DC? Icici?.

Also I have 11 credit cards and none of them can solo purchase it. Also, is there any way to split payment if I could? Between my dad's apay cc and mine? I tried both apay and fkrt but can't see any way. Your suggestions would be helpful. (And in case someone wants to know what is it, then please don't ask it cuz I know people are gonna think it's weird).

Also this is my first ever post so mods feel free to move it to the relevant thread 🙂
ASV + credit card isn’t allowed on all order types. Try a small value ASV first to check if both can be used together. If it’s a single item, consider using someone else’s card to earn 5%, or split the order if there are multiple items. You can also place one order, pay the bill, and then place another. Just be careful—if you buy ASV worth ₹3L and need to return it later, your refund might get stuck for a while.

If his friend has around 5-6 lakh limit, I don't think spending creates any issue. That's what credit card is used for. Getting this limit also means good income.

Yes the return will be an issue with money getting stuck. ✌️

Thank you so much for sharing it, I will reach out to my branch on Monday for this.

Okay, there's no issue for return as I know I won't be returning it. Also, there's no issue of ASV staying in my account even if I had to return it because I will spend the amount. The only fear I have is my CC/Amazon account getting flagged as misuse or fraud or whatever.
