This is incorrect as per my conversation with customer care. They said if you upgrade, your MRCC will be cancelled. They also refused any companion card. And if one has to keep MRCC , then They can apply for Amex plat travel online as a new card.

I used it yesterday for 8500 and Amex worked fine. Today I was trying with my wife’s mobile and her Amex card but it wasn’t accepting Amex.

Unable to use Amex card in airtel mini wallet. It is not taking Amex. visa and mc credit cards are still working. Is anyone else facing a similar issue?
