In my view billing date around 18-22 is the best option. However, I follow two billing days per month. one between 1-3, and another one 15th. All my cards are covered except OneCard, where the billing date is the 22nd, and they don't allow me to change 2nd time.

I think you might have a got an email from HDFC. In the email, the scheduled date will be mentioned and the actual payment happens the very next day early in the morning.

Is there a way to change this "Amount will be debited within 4 days prior to the due date, once the bill is generated." I get anxious waiting for the date to reach 4 days before due. Any idea how long does it take to autopay to get triggered?
