Weird duplicate transactions on Airtel Axis Credit Card

On 14th July, I booked a gas cylinder using my Airtel Axis credit card through the Airtel Thanks app. Everything seemed fine — payment went through, order was confirmed, and the cylinder was delivered the next day.

But today (24th July), while casually checking my transaction history, I noticed something strange: the same amount was charged three times, and two of them were later refunded. What's really concerning is that I didn’t authorize those extra charges — no OTP, no SMS alert, nothing. I only noticed it because I was manually checking the records.

Has anyone else faced this issue with the Airtel app or Axis cards? Should I contact customer care just to be
safe?

I noticed a similar issue with my airtel axis card, same duplicate transaction but it was automatically removed next day (not reversed, it just vanished).

Mine is still showing. I didn't receive any notification for these transactions like no otp or alerts. Should I complaint about this to the customer care team?
 
Is it only on the app or transaction related details are available on sms or email.
Only on the app. I didn't even know about these transactions. Today I was just checking my statement then saw these transactions. No email,no otp,no sms has details of these transactions.

Mail pno, there's something wrong because with general transaction taking place it must off set original transaction not reversed.

I also noticed once.. there was a duplicate Swiggy transaction in about 24 hours .. can’t remember what happened then..
Will check when time permits
 
I made a transaction on Amazon on 22 July for ₹1106.64 using my Amazon ICICI credit card.

Today, I noticed double entries of ₹1106.64 dated 22 July on the iMobile app.

When I was purchasing on Amazon, the transaction went through smoothly.

I raised a dispute with the bank, and they emailed me saying that they will credit the disputed amount during the investigation.

The investigation will take 40 working days. Let’s see what happens.
