Infinia From ₹1 Cr FD to Infinia CC: The Upgrade

FD @7.1% for 15 months duration. No lein.
There’s no penalty, my FD was on monthly payout - all they did was adjust the interest to 4.25% as you said right for less than 6 months that’s the ROI. Koi penalty nahi lagti break krne me

@NikhilG
Are you sure about no penalty, because when I try to make a fd online via hdfc net banking it says 1 percent penalty gets adjusted from interest amount.

That's like 2-3 times traveling abroad per month. Just curious what kind of job/enterprise profile do you have?
I don't work.

Multiple lounges are accessed in one trip. For example, in my last Europe trip, I was based out of UK and travelled to France, Poland, Morocco, Germany, Switzerland and Portugal but each was a separate trip from the UK. These are super cheap flights like Rs 2k to 3k each and I chose whichever country had cheap flights available. I don't need any visas as I have multiple Western citizenships. Now on this trip, I used the Birmingham lounge 7 to 8 times, London once and then lounges in those countries once or twice. Similarly, on my trip to Malaysia, Philippines, Japan and Singapore a couple of months ago, I used the Kuala Lumpur lounges about 10 times as they are available for arrival as well as departure and some days, I had my lunch, then tea, followed by dinner at KLIA. I used the lounges in Tokyo, Singapore and Manila once each. So, it's really important to have unlimited access and I have several cards that provide access. I love lounges and always go to the airport early. If I have an early morning flight, I generally go by midnight, have dinner and then breakfast before the flight. If I have an evening or night flight, I show up by midday, have lunch, later go again for tea/ coffee and once again for dinner before the flight. I even book flights keeping lounge access in mind when possible.

Math is not mathing here. Don't tell me you divided 20-30 by 12 please.
It's not 20 trips per year. It's mostly 2 to 4 international trips each year but I always try and add a few other countries to each trip. In addition, I try to book flights with long stopovers (like 10 to 30 hours) when possible and thus I get to see another country for free and of course, use another lounge!
Last year, my Korea trip had an 18 hour stopover in Hanoi and about 15 hours in Ho Chi Minh City. I went out in Hanoi but stayed at the lounge in Ho Chi Minh as I had seen it before. Similarly, my US trip last year, I chose a route that took me via London with a 20 hour layover (got a cheap hotel) and via Paris with a 15 hour stop on return. So I got to see two more cities and of course use 2 more lounges!
