Axis ACE Dead? GPay Removed Credit Card Option for electricity Bill Payment - Discussion

Hi guys,

GPay recently started charging a convenience fee for paying electricity bills using the Axis ACE card. This was one of the best cards for bill payments due to its 5% cashback. However, when I tried paying my bill today, I realized that the option to select my existing linked card was missing.

Is it gone for everyone else here? Is this the last nail in the coffin :/

There's literally no point in keeping this card except for 1.5% offline spends.

I can still see the option to pay via ace. Maybe some glitch.. try later
Which type of bill? I can see credit cards are available for bill payments include ACE CC.
I heard - In my gpay, ace cc not showing up for paying electricity bills, but showing (with conv fee) for mobile recharges & dth..

Although RuPay cc showing up for all

I also think so.... Gpay followed Apay for levying convenience charges through cards which make ACE has no more a lucrtive option with a cashback ceiling too inforced sometime back....
I was like mad for getting my hand over ACE but got rejected three four times and now when it's in my pre-approved section, It doesn't even appeal anymore
