Retention offer for Yes bank card

Is there any retention offer for keeping Yes first business card (which is lifetime free).

Normally if you phone customer care and ask to close your card they will transfer the call to the retention team, who will make you an offer of cashback or points to keep the card

For me Experian is 882, CRIF around 630 but CIBIL is 764 so I don't think these matter.

I called yes bank customer care and told to permanently close my credit card and after that I received following message -

Dear Customer, Your YES BANK Credit Card is blocked eff 30/12/2023 & will be closed permanently within 7 working days. Please check the latest outstanding in case of making payment -YES BANK LTD

So my card is closed permanently or still just blocked ??
Can I expect any retention call ?? FYI I told during last call I don't want renewal charges waiver.
Please advise.

I want my card to be life time free so I asked customer care he told me not possible then I told him to close it. After that I got this message so I am not sure what has happened.

there wont be any LTF card from YES lately
you wont get any retention call
your card will be closed in 7 days.

I got First Business card LTF a long time ago.
6 International and 2 x 4 domestic Lounge access without any Priority pass or Lounge key or Dreamfolks card.
It's all inbuilt in the credit card which is excellent, cos you can see the charge, Rs.2 or 25. So no risk

Yes Bank gave me 2000 points to keep the LTF card

Got Paid card converted to LTF. Then asked for closing the virtual upi cc so they offered 4k points.

Paid cc was Select. Just asked them over call if I have any LTF offer and they took the request.

I have Yes LTF card, now it's called Select , I genuinely wanted to close it even though it was my first card, this was 5 years ago and I didn't know better.
The retention guy convinced me to keep it and also gave ₹500 worth of points (later, points devaluated to ₹250 ig).
Still is my oldest card.

Nope, just asked them. But recently when I asked that I want to close this LTF cc then they said no retention offer or youn as you already got LTF conversion.

Retention offer is only given for paid cards by all the banks.
you cannot get any retention points for a lifetime free card, so don't even try because they may close it and that is risky

what's the usage of your card
I've FYF prosp business cc and I'm not using it.
is there any possibility that they conv my card to LTF

I applied for this card only for yes bank occasional offers
