Hi, I recently found out from some threads that DBS provides the Spark credit card pre-approved to account holders without a cibil hit. I am 18 years old with no ITR. Considering I open a 10K MAB account, will I be eligible for the pre approved card? I checked around and there’s no mention of an age limit for the card. No other use case of the account for me other than the card, I can maintain the 10k. Please inform me if anyone has done this before with success.

@Shobhit Srivastava Just found out from their card member agreement that the minimum age is 18. Should I call them up to make sure?

Not much for the spark 5 variant which is the entry level. They were even offering 500 voucher to get the CC. I asked for a higher variant but they said that upgrading is the only option

I think with the kind of fees and reward redemption, there are other better cards out there. One query, though : Does this Spark card allow statement credit for cash points? I didn't find it on the website.

I have a 7 year old account with them. I don't do many transactions, maintain about 20-50k mab. Use occasionally for UPI transactions wherever Rupay CC is not accepted. No issues faced so far.

It's pre-approved. I tried to ask for higher variant but they didn't offer so I am not taking it as of now.
