I get 5% instant cb on Flipkart.
However in sbi cb card, i will get the same 5% cb post statement generation date for online transactions. Is my understanding correct?

You get 5% cashback in Flipkart (after 50 days/before next statement generation) not instant and Yes you will get 5% cashback in SBi cashback card after 2 days of current billing cycle/statement generation.

SBI Cashback Card calculates 5% cashback in a different way,

"The Card Cashback will be rounded down for each individual transaction. For e.g., for an eligible
online transaction of ₹1160, the 5% Card Cashback would be calculated as following:
1% Card Cashback = ₹1160 * 1% = ₹11 (rounded down from ₹11.60)
4% Card Cashback = ₹1160 * 4% = ₹46 (rounded down from ₹46.60)
Total Card Cashback for the transaction =1% Card Cashback + 4% Card Cashback = ₹11+₹46=₹57"

So Flipkart Axis is better for shopping on Flipkart.

If you have both, it's better to keep both. Flipkart card has unlimited cashback and in offline 1.5% while SBICB has 10K limit in 5%.
