TF Premier
I will keep the story short. HDFC'c credit card department is run by bunch of unqualified people and I wish to replace the Regalia if possible. I prefer to be respected as a customer rather than be treated as an expendable product. RM's and BM's call us for FD's, Credit line renewals and insurance but nobody is willing to give a worthy credit card upgrade even after good spends.

My card portfolio is made up of

1. Amex Platinum travel for the reward rate
2. Indusind Tiger for business spends.
3. SBI cashback. Good only when there are no online offers.
4. HDFC Business Regalia (time to show it the drawer.)

few other LTF cards that I don't use from SBI, Kotak, Standard Chartered etc.

I am looking for an alternative credit card with the following features if possible.
1. LTF preferred but also comfortable with annual fee of around 3000Rs if waiver is not included.
2. Monthly movie ticket offers (without quota) on bookmyshow (not paytm) preferred.
3. International Lounge access (although, I have never used the facility till date)
4. Good online offers from Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, dineout/zomato etc.

cards I have considered

1. Standard Chartered Ultimate pre-approved. Many complain of lack of redemption options. Provides reward points even for annual fees.
2. Kotak Zen signature preapproved. Offers international lounge access and seems to have good online offers (myntra and Amazon).
3. Federal Celesta(Rupay Select?). Has international lounge and bookmyshow offer. No information on much else.
4. IDFC first wealth credit card. Has lounge access. Reward rate is low but I can settle with .25ps per point value against cash credit.
5. Any good ICICI card that offers Bookmyshow offers and online offers along with International lounge access.
6. Indusind pinnacle LTF possible?
7. Kotak white card LTF possible ?

Welcoming suggestions and feedback.

Thank you for your help.

If you have good limit and spends on Regalia, you can also try mailing their CC grievance email id for upgrade. RMs have never been useful - they have tried selling me ULIPs and other investment plans to 'make a case' for CC upgrade.

same response as RM and BM. Equally pathetic and useless in my case.
Be careful, the agent commission in the first year can go up to 40% of the insurance premium paid by you!
Link?

What was your NRV with Axis?
No, not all of them.
My RM was extremely useful.
He managed to get me Magnus Burgundy lifetime free on the very last day.

And not once did he try to sell me any insurance or ULIP. He probably knows that I am an expert on finance

I’ve 1.25 lac limit on my HDFC IOCL card can i get regalia card and if yes how to apply

HDFC Regalia has now also lost the extra cashback on Swiggy (now only applicable on orders over 2500) and discount has reduced to 5% only.

Hence, revisiting this topic again.
Currently looking at a replacement card for Bookmyshow, Amazon/Bigbasket and Swiggy/ Zomato

1. Icici LTF. Which card can I get LTF and what is a good channel to use to get ICICI credit card LTF?
2. Federal Bank Celesta. Is it better than ICICI in offers on bookmyshow, Amazon and Swiggy/ Zomato?
3. Axis bank LTF card? Which variant(Neo/axis etc) to get and is it good for offers compared to ICICI?

I have seen some posts mentioning cashkaro. Is it better than approaching the bank or through agent via Card to card?

Amex Platinum travel is the winner for me if you're looking for a winner in value back across all value categories. Easily accessible. Achievable spend limit. Superior customer service.

I already have AMEX platinum travel and making full use of it. Require another card for offers at movies, amazon and swiggy/ zomato.

Couldn’t agree more with you, hdfc bank credit card department is just useless. I already hold Amex platinum travel sbi prime and 3-4 other cards ….just to make my case I opened account with hdfc bank also invested in a FD worth 1.5lacs and then applied for regalia gold thru the offline branch mode…but my application is rejected with no specified reason even when I am meeting all the eligibility criteria ….
Looking for an alternative now as I want to replace my sbi prime card which I feel doesn’t have a good reward rate.

Yes Bank Marquee..meets most of requirements except fees but joining and renewal benefits decent to cover cost.
ICICI Sapphiro if LTF good offers on ICICI meets all other requirements except rewards which are very poor.

Finally got the regalia gold …with a lot of follow up with the RM , BM and lot of phone calls and emails!!! The struggle was real!!
Had a bad experience with the domestic online transaction with kept getting failed for some reason. The customer care executive or phone banking executive had no idea why it is happening and kept bluffing and coming up with lame reasons ….after a lot of stern words it was escalated to a manager and then got resolved.

Finally got the regalia gold

Do check, might be helpful to you.

Drop a mail to grievanance or Chennai with your income for DCB Business.
I have a different opinion. I am a customer and Bank should contact me. If they cannot value their customers, there are many other credit card companies out there.

The card is already in the drawers now and replaced by another card which gives better returns and no attitude like HDFC card department.

HDFC credit card may come back to life for me IF HDFC prefers to correct past mistakes.

I have already closed my credit line, Mutual funds, deposits and demat accounts with HDFC in the last 5-6 years.
