Best Way to pay Credit Card Bill

Guys I am redacting this post as I have been asked by the bank for non disclosure as mentioned in TnCs else my account would be suspended. They had asked me to remove this as this violates the TnC related to not getting reward points for CC payments.

Paytm recenly changed their cc billpay system for sbi. I think they swtiched from NEFT to bbps and you got caught up in between.

I understand payment fails at times. But their customer care is invisible. Twitter team will never tell RRN. Just keep asking to wait. Using paytm from many years but first time experienced such unprofessionalism from them.

Can't raise dispute to bank of baroda as I don't have RRN.

They are behaving like this since the rbi ban. I think for now we should avoid paytm until they restabilize.

Paytm customer care & in app chat bot is stupid.

Paytm focus is SoundBox and now ads on it(beta) as that is the cash-cow

and there is no Loan business RN(as new lenders are being negotiated with)

Tried to pay IDFC CC bill using IDFC DC on SBI Unipay
Amount 1000
Money debited, payment not made to CC
SBI Unipay says transaction failed and transaction amount is Rs 10 (Ten only) (Amount deducted One thousand)
Despite logging in to Unipay, before paying, no transactions are shown for today or any other day. Today was the 2nd time I used it. Yesterday failed because IDFC OTP did not come
Any idea what happens next? Will the money be refunded automatically and correctly i.e. Rs 1000?

EDIT: SBI UniPay seems to be one messed up system. I can't believe that even the amount is wrong!

The only thing that I did was, I emailed support.bbps@sbi.co.in on 28th March. No reply received

Cheq no longer fetch points for MC. Big hit or miss. Go for park+ with MC.

Park+ removed debit card option

You will get points dont worry. I got points for two merchant names- cheq, CHEQ DIGITAL PRIVATE.

yes. You can pay any cc it doesn't matter just make sure to use indus mc dc.

I too just paid HDFC CC bill of 20k via paytm and it got settled instantly.

My SBI cc bill payment was failed after a day on 2nd April. But Axis CC bill was successful on 3rd April. I heard some users faced issue on 1st & 2nd April.

Any way to get RRN from Paytm. It's 5th working day today.

Chat bot says refund is initiated & will credit in 5-7 working days. Otherwise quote RRN to bank.

But issue is there is no way to get RRN. Tried twitter too, their team just ask to wait for 5-7 working days, but won't tell RRN.

Yep. Got the refund for all the Unipay failed payments from last week today.
