I am NTB customer with IDFC. I had some relationship in the past with IDFC via Flipkart Paylater which I had closed last year.

Hi Guys,

I will share my successs story of how I got approved for Wealth Credit Card from IDFC bank.

I recieved a call from sales team that I was eligible for IDFC LTF credit card. I clearly told them I am not gonna apply unless I get wealth card. She told she can apply Wealth for me and it will approve for sure.

I trusted her and followed her steps and boom the card was approved on second day and virtual card has arrived.

My monthly avg salary is ~60k and CIBIL hovers between 770 and 780


If anyone wants to apply ensure your work location and current residence is at same City. I can share the agent contact who helped me to apply.

WFH so not possible for me.
In her knowledge, WFH with company address (or any company branch) not in same city usually gets rejected later on.

Is it 4 domestic and 4 international or 4 domestic and international combined?
Also if we apply using Amex plat travel with 9.5L but 1 month old card any chance of getting wealth? location Bengaluru.
Tried with ICICI Rubyx with same limit but got wow.

Any insight on this?

asking full address but i am not convinced and want to avoid any scam.

Submitted my application around 1.30 am night. Due to work, i completed vkyc in the evening 6pm. Card got approved and was able to see in the app by 7.30 pm

How much salary did you put? And Existing Card limit?

Also guys, I have 4.5L Apay ICICI. Will that work for Wealth? or can I just put 5L as limit?

I put above 1.5L as salary and DCB card for 9L limit. No verification of docs. Just verbal ask of Salary slab like whether my salary is in rage of 1.5L-3L

Now what are the options that I have here:

1. Should I simply keep the card and start using it? or
2. Should I do not activate the card & let it get cancelled automatically? or
3. Should I use the fact that I was offered Select card without following the due procedure & without my consent, as a leverage to force them to upgrade it to Wealth card ??? (how evil of me 😁)

@_amit_ got any workaround for WFH and address issue? My permanent and current is in different city than office location. Will it be possible to get the card? I have heard there's no physical verification so did you try applying?

I did not initiated the process as agent was not confident and I was not interested in seeing the rejection later.
But I did not confirmed if mentioning self-employed can work. Maybe connect with the agent and confirm, or maybe with the customer support too.

depands on your application, if physical verification happens then 100% rejection
if not then no issue

but still you need to put current address and office address in same city otherwise it will be rejected
