Is there anyone here, who have used RM and got additional points without talking to Amex CC 😅

I am not sure, i had to escalate to RBI to get the points after fighting for 5 months. I dont trust or use RM portal except to buy Vouchers

Every time I have used RM to buy something that have cited that the transaction was not captured at the merchant. I tried only 2-3 times though.

Gyftr works immediately however.

Don't buy just to earn the extra points.

TBH, very few % of Amex janta thinks that way😅

And even for those who are planning for genuine spends, if there is no assurity of offer fulfillment , they will divert those spends on better rewarding cards or look for sure shot offers

I’ve chatted, spoken, escalated multiple times only to be denied 5x.

In the process lost out on milestone based benefit.

It was quite pathetic previously.

Better now I guess.

But in my experience Tanishq is dicey in terms of capturing the transaction + bonus points credit takes ages.

they have 25-30% making charges . Also gold rate higher by 3-4%. Best to buy from normal jewellers hallmarked at 6-7% making

To be honest, the one time I recorded video was for Uniqlo, but didn’t end up sharing with Amex.

Thankfully those bonus points got credited in under a week’s time.

Got delayed confirmation of transaction having got recorded.
( The delay affected my Plat Travel spend plans).

The bonus points credit may take upto 150 days, weekends and public holidays excluded.

I mostly stay away from RM for this reason, except for vouchers, now and then.

You know how it is with Amex !

I called them to check if my latest Tanishq transaction was captured in their halo-ed systems.

They promised to revert in 24 hours I think.

I got confirmation call back in over 72/96 hours, if I recollect right.
