I had to change some information on my RBL card, they asked for my Aadhar. I argued that I have already given at the time of kyc, but they told me that they don't store Aadhar details.Why would you expect that they won't?

AFAIK banks (& other entities too, forget lazy govt. depts here) are not allowed to store the Aadhaar "number" anywhere.Suppose I own a credit card from a certain bank. I do not have any savings/current account with them. Do they store my Aadhar Data (since it was used at the time of issuing the card)?
