RBL is now giving away LTF World Safari/ICON from Shoprite if you are upgraded from Zomato Edition

One big news I wanted to share with all of you.
Currently RBL is upgrading LTF Shoprite to LTF World Safari if you got LTF Shoprite from Zomato Edition.

Whoever has it, just call RBL & say that the Reward Rate is very poor with Shoprite & I don't want to continue with it.
Also ask if there is any upgrade offer for World Safari/ICON.
Based on your profile there is 99% probability that you will be offered either one of them. Many people has got it.

First they offered me FYF World safari card but after rejecting that they offered me Lifetime free. But to my surprise got WhatsApp message that my card is First year free only. Mailed them regarding this..lets see what happens. I have call recording as a proof

Crazy non standard service from RBL. When called for the first time they rejected any offer on my Shoprite. On calling the second time they told they can offer FYF World Safari and LTF Icon credit card. I asked for LTF World Safari and the guy said as an exception he is going to give me LTF World Safari 😅. Let’s see I am yet to get SMS confirmation. If I get it it will be a boon as I have an international trip coming up and that Zero markup on forex transactions can be put to good use 😊

The executive was really helpful upgraded to a lifetime free World Safari on Mastercard. Will see where the Golf benefits can be used. All thanks to the TF Community.

Thanks to the forum, got World Safari (LTF). Was pleasantly surprised to get Priority Pass as well.
Process was very smooth. One call, request to upgrade was taken. Card delivered in 5 days.

I had Shoprite from Zomato called CC they said only ICON LTF available I took it on that day after others said they got World Safari I called to say I need World Safari LTF they took request.

However I got ICON LTF. Called them and said I asked World Safari LTF why you sent ICON then they said we will look into it and gave me World Safari and cancelled my ICON LTF

However they said its paid I had to mail back and forth few times to get LTF mail confirmation

First international transaction usually fails. Bank first verifies from you that whether you're genuinely buying from this site and then unblock the transaction. This is because there's no OTP system for international purchases. Retry after 1-2 hrs of verification.

Yes I've tried even after 12 hours . Still fails. Have sent them a mail, lets see now

Oh and there was an OTP verification, i completed it as well.

Generally rates are given by the card network. Banks can add their own charges over it but they have to mention it explicitly in the T&Cs. If it's a zero forex card, it's straightforward card network forex rates.
