DCB How to get HDFC Diners Club Credit Card Life Time Free

Hello Everyone,

HDFC Bank runs a special Diners Institute Program for the people who have either completed their education from the list of institutes mentioned below link or are part of the Club mentioned in the below link:

List of Eligible Institute & Club Link: Link

Under this program, you are eligible for a Diners Club Credit Card on Life Time Free basis. The card variant depends upon your Salary and Card Limit. (As updated by the Bank person the eligibility has been relaxed a little on 21-Dec-2022)

1. For the Diners Club Black variant you need to have a Monthly salary of more than 1.45L

2. If you do not meet the above criteria and still your Institute is part of the above list you will be given the Diners Club Privilege variant

3. If you are a final year student studying in any of the above-mentioned colleges, the Card against your institute name will be provided to you as Life Time Free

The process to Apply:

Long Process:

1. mail to priorityredressal.creditcards@hdfcbank.com along with the name of the Institute or Club

2. They will revert back and ask you to apply on the following link: https://v.hdfcbank.com/htdocs/common/dinersblackinstitute/index.html after which in a couple of days someone from HDFC Bank will reach out to you

3. You need to submit your Degree Certificat / Club Membership Proof, Last three-month Salary Slip, and Bank account statement in which your Salary was credited

Nope no chance. Atleast 1.5L is preferred from what i have seen.

I applied through this person. I had a Tata Neu HDFC LTF card. She told me to close that and apply for diners. After a week, I got update and my diners application was declined and now I don't have the tata neu card as well. Any suggestions on what can be done ?

Update: Followed up with them. They asked certain docs. Given. Received my DCB today. Now trying my luck to get back the Tata Neu.

The PNO denied to convert to LTF for me too under alumni program 3-4 months back. I am waiting DCB to get upgraded to infinia or close it.

So if you close the existing card, and then once again apply for a new DCB - using the alumni thing, will they give you a LTF DCB? or will the application be rejected? Any idea on this ?

Do mention that doing a good spend on Tata Neu Card also.

Include grievance.redressalcc@hdfcbank.com and priority redressal in cc, they reply sooner else escalations cc will take 10 days at least.

Useless. It can be done easily online.

I have tried sending a reply with the same points but unfortunately they are just mentioning card account is not eligible for upgrade though they are offering increase of CL to 4L. They aren’t mentioning any reason but one thing is Tata neu was issued in February. Would be grateful for your inputs. Thanks

LTF DCB is only for alumni offer or if you have net salary.

yes not able to convert into ltf, only fyf with 5l 2nd year spend reversal.

My friend request was initially rejected but he was persistent. I think he sent 5 times and then finally got it LTF in 6th try.
Its upto you. But if they are giving you credit limit, then you are already at the verge of being LTF.

Send a mail to grievances saying that delivery agent didn't try delivering the regalia. Kindly issue DC

I tried through BM and agent, all saying DCB not possible through CTC. I have Citi card with 8.30 lacs limit. I don't have any existing HDFC relationship

I believe you should be able to answer this instead of asking us. 🤣 My relationship manager at IndusInd Bank used to be an ex-employee of HDFC Bank, yet they still hold a Millenia Card with a 1.5 lakh limit that is 7 years old. 🤣 This proves that HDFC Bank doesn't even treat their employees well. 😂

You can get DCB. Send a mail
