I think only way to get rupay select in Union bank with normal ac is opening account at branch with instant kit containg rupay select debit card. I visited one branch but they hav only rupay platinum kit. Staff acknowledged that they have kit with rupay select before.

So I opened the digital savings account with Union bank and now instead of Rupay select card, I'm holding a Rupay platinum card . So my question to people now is, how do I get out of this situation. The branch people say that they can upgrade my account but I'll have to maintain 15k/quarter balance which I can do, however if there's another way, then I'd rather not do that. But they also say I have to submit an application, and then they'll process it, which is kind of a hassle for me lol. But yea, any suggestions are welcome.

I also did the same, and the branch is telling me to either maintain an AQB of Rs. 1 Lakh or convert it into Salary account.
