Axis indianoil rupay credit card is issued without my consent. What's the hell with axis..!!!🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫

Hi everyone
When I checked my axis Bank app now, I just see that a newly issued Indian oil rupay card is showing in the app . I didn't apply/upgrade for any Indian oil card or gives any consent for the same. Then how axis issued the card without my consent and knowledge??? Really shocking & unbelievable!!!! It's my first time issue from axis. How they are supposed to issue this card as I recently upgraded my airtel rupay card. Need your valuable suggestions whether to go with RBI or not???

The card has been dispatched. Shall I reject the delivery?? Will it affect any escalation to rbio?

Jokes apart, for your case @mailmenow Kindly take CIBIL subscription (if not) and check if there's any enquiry done for this application or not.

Secondly, daily monitor it. Lastly, reject the card delivery, escalate directly to PNO, asking how this fiasco happened and show proof of consent. Either the agent/agency through which card has been applied should be penalized or blacklisted. If not done so, raise issue with RBIO.

Remember first u need to escalate the issue with bank, make a stronger case of negligence or theft of privacy and then file compensation. Don't hurry. Good luck

Ok bro. I already raised it with nodal yesterday . If not satisfied will escalate to pno, then RBI. Is it ok?

Which way they applied 🤣🤣. As per the information from customer care, my card get generated using a third party application called "olcca"

Did they charge the joining fee for ur card?

Take this as an opportunity and ask for conversion to LTF.

If they decline, then don't activate the card and next step is to protect CIBIL score.
