To all roarbank users, I have a question related to Roar bank. Does the cashback which we received are applicable on debit card transaction only or only on credit card.

I know here we have 2 in one cards, but a lot of merchant do not allow to use credit card on upi, so if we pay them using debit card on upi, will be get cashback

First Of all, There is no Debit Card in the Roarbank.
It's a single card only, that is Roarbank Credit Card. Only thing is , they have linked that savings account with Credit Card account. So whenever You made payment or use the card, that Credit Card is used only and that credit limit is used, Now if you balance in the savings account, it's deducted and adjusted towards limit. And they'll call that like, “congratulations, you have used this card as Debit Card."👏😆

So all thing is that they are making people fool by this.🤡 There is no upi associated with unity savings account as no Debit card attached with it. You even can't keep funds in this account if you have used credit limit cause it's automatically deducted towards that.
This is just a “pseudo" account.🎃

Everything is correct except that you can use savings account's upi too by registering in Unity SF app

My point is that you can have joy of either savings account or Credit Card at a time.

UPi via Unity app is working as it's bank's own app....ofcourse it should, atleast this is expected. Maybe they soon integrating that in Roarbank Application too.
But the point is, You can't use both things like Savings Account & Credit Card things together and Freely. If you have used credit card, and you deposit funds in your account, it's auto deducted for adjusting that limit first, and then remaining amount is left, which with you can play UPI-UPi, or Roarbank CC as Debit Card.🤡

If we are paying through savings account, are we eligible for cashback as per category.
This is in condition where qr codes does not accept credit card

Have to check this.
As UPI is still unavailable on Roarbank app, no option currently, savings account upi in Unity app is also broken and not working.

We have to wait until they implement these things in Roarbank app. As we have no option to use savings account upi via any third party application rn.
 
I used my physical Roar card for the first time in 2 months.
Suprise Suprise! The card doesn't work.
Tap n pay not detected, dip and pay failed as well.
Switched off and on all controls, did pin reset. Nothing helped.
Contacted support and they said I already have the new fixed card. Try again.
Tried at 3 different POS same result.
CS is not ready to replace card. Closed ticket as well.

CS has an easy excuse here "the dog ate homework CC" and will levy fine for mishandling of CC and pet abuse.
The real use case for this physical CC is a dog tag around a pet's neck.
