DCB Regalia Gold to DCBM approved. What now?

Hdfc agreed to upgrade my regalia gold to dcb metal. Can someone tell me whether I can use the smartbuy ka 5k ka coupons (I have 2 of them for milestone on regalia gold) for DCB Metal later on?

Also what should I do with my 65k ish points on regalia gold? I'm assuming they'll be halved when I upgrade, so what's the best option?

No use for the vouchers right now 😭😭. Are you sure they can't be used on the dcb smartbuy portal too? I read some people saying they can be used on the infinia smartbuy portal post upgrade atleast

Bro I'm talking about the 5k flight ka vouchers which you can use only on smartbuy. Not the quarterly milestone vouchers, I used them already. I don't have any flights to book right now isliye wondering.

Congrats on getting the upgrade.
I think it is better to convert RG points to hotel or airline partner before conversion. Because after conversion it will be halved.
If you don't have any plan, then convert to Mariott because later you can convert from Mariott to other partners.
If you have some plan of hotel, then it's better to move to Accor.

Let me tell u so u don't make the same mistake.

1. Vouchers yes u can use it later. no issues.
2. Transfer points immediately to Accor. It will give you twice the value, if you wait, then you'll lose half the value.

9.5L limit and 12L in spends. Feel like an idiot honestly, wanted infinia and qualified for it but they changed the criterias last month making me ineligible.

Then I thought, atleast dcb metal toh le lu, will get unlimited lounge access.

Dcb is better than infinia, if you aren't a fan of vouchers/apple products

Yeah my only concern is the diners network ka acceptability. Can't use it for meta ads which are one of my major spends. But i still feel it's a good deal, provided I hit 8L spends annually and quarterly milestones too.

They have given approval over email, I have to send a scanned copy of the upgrade form over email if i want to do it.
