Redeem IndusInd Debit Card Points in Cash [DETAILED POST]

Hi TFCers,

There is hardly any post or resource available on TFC, YT, Google specifying how to redeem Indusind Debit card points in cash.
Most of these points we usually earn by paying credit card bill of other banks using Indusind Debit Select/Partner Exclusive debit cards.
Indusind portal is confusing and I myself have faced issues navigating the website while trying to redeem these points.

NOTE: No reward redemption fees is charged for points to cash redemption like other banks. Also, maximum of 5K points can be redeemed in one shot. You can repeat multiple redemptions of 5K points in a single day without issue. Its tried and tested.

Step 1: Login to https://indusnet.indusind.com/


Step 2: On RHS click Manage Relationship --> Manage Debit Card --> Redeem Reward Points --> Select Debit Card & Acc No --> Click Reward Point Redemption radio button


Step 3: Select Cashback in Redemption option --> Enter the points you want to redeem(Max 5k points in single transaction)



Step 4: Enter OTP


Step 5: In couple of days you will get Rs. 1750 credited to your bank account


5K points =Rs.1750 (actual cashback!!!)
1 point = Rs. 0.35 (cash redemption)

Most of these points I have accumulated by paying my CC bills only earlier via Mobikwik and later via PayTm.
And yes we can all agree, IndusInd app is shitty but still better than other banks 😀

Delights account opening goes online without any issue?

If you are new to IndusInd, it all goes smooth. In my case, the account got created but in VKYC, they rejected due to prompts. After that, I reached out to the nearby branch and they did in person verification and unfreezed my account after a month.

It's better to get it opened via branch.

Indusind have removed the redeem to cash option. Their netbanking interface also overhauled. I had ₹4000 to redeem

If you have indie account,your NetBanking interface will be totally changed, you can't redeem your point as cash there


But if you have only indusind delight account, your net banking interface will be different from your indie,and you will be able to redeem to your point as cash there .
I have: indie + indusind delight account

My mother has only delight account, and redeemed 5000 point as cash there right now..
But i have 4500 points, can't get option to redeem points as cash, i have to redeem as voucher like flipkart Myntra

I think No, if you have both indie account and delight, perhaps you can't able to redeem your points as cash... Because internet banking interface is totally changed if you have indie

Have you checked with cs team via call, when i called them they told me its possible to raise request for redemption in call.

They can’t upgrade us forcefully to some app version and can’t say no redemption which is their product feature

That's what i am saying that you only get redeem your points as cash in old interface, but you have indie account your NetBanking interface will be migrated to new indie interface where you can't get any option to redeem points as cash, only find voucher
