Is that only restricted to utility bill payments??
because look even 🪓 chortel has 10% cashback, capping even though 250, but given my spends, I feel like to continue with chortel because I buy from Zomato and BB quite often, so chortel card still useful to me and chorpe customer support ke basis peye i'm very skeptical about the chorpe devaluation coming anytime soon. Fees is 3x.
Am I missing out something?

Someone please tell me why should I consider Kala Chorpe over Badnam Chorpe. The only reason I see is that it is effectively FYF, after first year I'll transfer my limit of chorpe to cashback and then close that card. How about that??? Another is chortel ka capping 250 hai, which is okayisshh for me. Chal jayega but 3x fees nahi chalega bhai.

I have faced this issue like many others with the SBI PhonePe Select credit card where utility bill payments (MCC 4900, 4814, 4899) made through the PhonePe app are only getting 1 reward point per ₹100.
But as per point 4 of the official T\&C, these MCCs will get 1 reward point per ₹100 "only when the transaction is done outside the PhonePe app". So logically, these transactions "on PhonePe" should earn the regular 10 RP per ₹100 as part of PhonePe spends.
I tried raising this with SBI Card customer care and also emailed the nodal officer, but both responses were unhelpful. They keep misinterpreting the terms and are ignoring the "outside PhonePe app” part. So I think they will just not give the 10% even after statement generated.

Same happened with me got 1% instead of 10% for insurance payment on phonepe. SBI customer care are just repeating "Insurance (MCC - 5960,
6300,6380) outside PhonePe will accrue 1 Reward Points/Rs. 100 only."
