Ohh matlab soon to launch!

Kotak Cashback+ has 2L waiver and ₹750+GST=₹885 fees

5% on (let's suppose) average value of grocery order of ₹1500 = ₹75 cashback which means approx 11 to 12 months of savings will be required to recover the joining fees 😆 For food delivery there are so many 10% options that 5% pales in comparison. Similarly for fuel, so many options more than 3%

Now if this was lifetime free or First Year Free, then it would make a difference. 2L spends achievable as Kotak has regular discounts so it's only after a few months of recovering joining fees that this card can be profitable

P.S. For salaried lucky bhaskars, HSBC Live+ will give 10% on Grocery but for self-employed, this Kotak Cashback+ seems best for Grocery

Isliye to bank profit mein hota hai if we blindly take paid cards with the lure of cashback. Paid cards can also undergo SUDDEN devaluation with no remuneration for those who paid the fees (EazyDiner Signature anyone?), so we have to calculate this
