Just wanted to share my recent experience of getting the ICICI EPM (Emeralde Private Metal) credit card approved and delivered. Might help others who are considering it or are in the process.

## 🗓️ My Timeline & Process
### Background
I had been asking my RM to help me apply for this card, but he kept saying it was “under review” and delayed things endlessly. So, I decided to visit a nearby ICICI branch myself.

### Day 0
- Spoke to an executive and told her I wanted to apply for the EPM card.
- She asked for the following details:
- Net monthly salary (must be above ₹3L)
- Whether I have an ICICI salary account
- Whether I have an ICICI Direct (Demat) account
- Recent salary slips
> **Note:** All these are mandatory.
I didn’t have a Demat account initially, so they helped me open one on the spot (I chose the basic ₹999 plan).

### Day 1
The credit card executive reached out and asked for:
- Last 2 months’ salary slips
- My offer letter (since my last month’s salary was on the lower side)

### Day 3
Card application got **approved**, and I received the confirmation email. 🎉

### Day 6
The credit card was **delivered** to me.

## 💳 Why I Chose This Card
1. I needed a good general-purpose card.
2. The ₹12.5K annual fee is credited back as reward points (I’m planning to use these mostly for flight bookings), so effectively I just pay the GST, which I’m okay with.
