IndusInd Pioneer account opening, need help

I wanted to open a pioneer account and asked my branch to open one for me but they insisted me on opening an account with a funding of Rs1,00,000 and then further they will upgrade it with my son's minor account as well


As I had first opened my son's minor account, therefore they were unable to open it online and went through the physical way and took a cheque of Rs1,00,000 from my current account, the next day the account was debited but after a few days as the account was not opened, I contacted my branch and they told me that they stopped accepting current account cheques and my amount will be refunded, it has been more than 10days and the amount has not been refunded, please suggest me to what I should do in this situation.



Also please let me know if you know anyone who can help me open a pioneer savings account directly without any bullshit or if I can open it online with the funding method of Rs90,000 (I don't have any pioneer branches near me)

I am from Mumbai, bht currently at Kaushambhi for work related at my relatives, let me know if you could share, need a sensible RM to talk to, even the support is helpless and telling me to reach out my branch

Don't open indus account man, the new app is useless for statements & all and not even opening for me since 10-15 days, keeps giving error that your phone is rooted even though it's not. Called them, checked with RM, mailed them but no solution to it. Just the template reply and then in 2 3 days they themselves decided and send a mail that the issue is resolved. I have a current account and it's a lifeline for my business so instantly moved to ICICI and made the account collection account only due to this. Will close the savings account also soon once I get free to visit the branch and give my very very positive feedback to them.

Hey personally speaking, don't go with Indusind bank.

The RMs are useless. In my case RM insisted on having a relationship with the bank to get a credit card. Hence, I opened their Pioneer account. Now even after months, RM isn't helping in getting a credit card.

But he always asks for referrals. Now I am not responding to his calls for referrals.

In my opinion Indus RMs are low level salesmen who just keeps pestering you. Worst kind of thing I have ever seen. My RM calls almost every 2-3 days and whatsapps every 2nd or 3rd day like a beggar for referrals, and investments.

I have called my RM for referrals. The referrals were ready to start Pioneer relationship. I asked what in return can I expect for 5 Pioneer accounts. He was like clueless as why should he offer something to me for any referrals.

Well said!! Hahaa those people have nothing to offer, they are just low hanging fruits in the food chain and they can just make fake promises, mis sell their products and unless they switch jobs with other bank, its all gloomy. Their words hold no significance. They dont have the appetite for business or else like you mentioned that you gave 5 referrals for Pioneer, they should be forthcoming with a genuine reward/product offering in your case.

Yes, I was willing to provide at least five referrals. In return, I expected him to assist my brother in getting a good credit card, especially since my brother also holds a Pioneer account. He had earlier mentioned that having a banking relationship would make it easier to get the card approved. However, instead of honoring that understanding, he offered a small bag as a reward for the referrals. I found that completely unacceptable and, as a result, chose not to share any referrals with him.
