Regalia to Infinia upgrade

I have a Regalia LTF card that I want to upgrade to Infinia. The credit limit on the Regalia card is around 15 lakhs. Since I already fulfill the credit limit criterion, I plan to spend 10+ lakhs in 6 months.

My questions:

• Are school fees and jewellery spends considered for the 10+ lakhs criterion?
• Will I get base rewards for school fees and jewellery spends?

I guess they went ahead and processed an upgrade request as well and declined. There's a cibil hit. Since I have an offline application in process as well, I'm unable to figure out if it was the priority.redressal team or it was the offline application I got the cibil hit for.

This is offline cibil hit, I too had when I upgraded to regalia

I got an SMS from HDFC as well that my application is processed, with an application ID. The status is "Declined". The message also says check the status after two days for some reason. The HDFC person who took the offline form from me called yesterday saying my application is still in progress.

What was the application status in your case?

That was an upgrade, no application number was there to trace.

Mine is an upgrade as well from regalia to infinia, which is exactly why I'm wondering why I got an application number. And another reason to believe that the priority.redressal team went ahead and processed my query as an upgrade request without my consent

I don't think I did. Can't blame myself if HDFC considers a query as an upgrade request

Agree on the patience part. Getting restless with all the new requirements coming in every few days. The latest one being HDFC not accepting upgrade application because of some glitch
