Joint ac for 2 dc,
CBoI nil charges for cent queen Rsdc, BoB FyF,
CBoI currently no mab, BoB idk 2k

so means all these rupay select dc accs can be opened in joint and we can get multiple dc ? or is it only for central bank and bob?

CBoI joint can have 2 dc while ac opening, u can apply add-on later too for both holders. BoB I personally haven't tried, but heard that u can do joint ac, depends on branch people too

Any tips and tricks for someone with 0 RSDC? How/where to get started and which banks offers the best benefits?
Is it better to open a new bank account for RSDC or upgrade an existing account? which is the easiest way with least possible amount being blocked?

I’m sharing my RuPay Select Debit Card Portfolio, including the associated bank details, account type, Minimum Average Balance (MAB) requirements, issuance and annual maintenance charges (AMC) [Including GST], as well as how I opened these accounts.

I have 12 RSDCs from 11 banks.

This is the cheapest possible way to get RSDCs.

This could be useful for anyone planning to acquire RuPay Select cards from different banks.



Notes:

1. Union Bank of India: Free Virtual RSDC. Logically 5000 MAB with 236 AMC.
2. Indian Overseas Bank: Downgraded from SB...

It depends on the stock at the rupay and sometimes bank too. We cant do anything

Initially they won't give rupay select.
First get insta card, basic rupay card.
Next, call the customer care and upgrade to RSDC.

Upgrade only via customer care. Not branch. I got this way only.

Not aware of latest update.

See there 2 variants of rsdc available in jana, so 2 possible i think if one can pursue

good luck finding a non-metro branches (including urban/semi-urban). even customer care kinda implied they only have branches there.
