How to pay Credit Card bill via 5% SBI Cashback Credit Card ?
Please note - when you choose phonepe wallet >> login >> saved card option >> enter credit card detials and proceed to pay.
if you get "PHONEPE PVT LTD" merchant name or "PHONEPE PRIVATE LTD" merchant name on Card otp page then 99% chance you will get 5% cashback category on SBI Cashback credit card.
Just 2 days ago, i used on TA Wallet load via Phonepe wallet option and "PHONEPE PVT LTD" merchant name got 5% cashback. Hitch Zone app via phonepe wallet got same merchant name.
If you guys have used the SBI Cashback Credit Card on PhonePe wallet trick on any apps then you would know that it always gives 5% cashback on SBI Cashbcak credit card on these two merchant names.
I haven’t personally verified it, but you guys can try it with ₹100 and check yourselves.
Charges -
Amazon gift voucher wallet - 2.332% charges (you can also use Credit Card, if your Amazon wallet/gift voucher balance is Zero but i dnt know what's the MCC code, if use Credit card via Amazon gateway).
Note - login using your amazon register mobile number on cashfree gateway page, if amazon wallet option is not open.
Phonepe wallet (no kyc required) >> Credit Card - 1.991% charges
Visa credit card - 1.25% charges
RuPay/Visa/Mastercard debit card - 1.233% charges
MCC Code i think - 4900 with credit card (direct payment)..
If its 4900 hdfc plat would fetch cashback right?

I thought the same but then went through comments and it seems same MCC is not tagged. Different merchant names = different MCC. No one is sure which one gives 4900. SBI cashback wont give on utlities mcc as it is in exclusion list if I remember correctly.
Paid via other credit card and got the mcc, not sure with sbi cb
