That’s correct. And even in case of over subscription, it depends on number of applications.

Unless it is oversubscribed by more than 13 (slightly more than that but less than 14), folks should get more than 1 lot.

If it is subscribed 100% or less in retail category, one will get what they apply for

Shareholder category is 4.5 times subscribed. So, I am hoping to get about 2 lots for 8 I have applied.

this is what i see in some of the channels...

HDB Financial Services

Big HNI : 5 out of 11 will get 280 shares
Small HNI : 5 out of 31 will get 280 shares
Retail : Firm Allotment for single lot
Shareholder : 4.5x (Approx 3 lots in full SH application)

So in SH if one has applied for 13 lots then he can expect 3 lots in SH category..

IPO subscription live status of IPO. Check how many times IPO over-subscribed in retail and non-retail category at BSE, NSE.
