Today I went to nearest ICICI branch for EPM and he asked salary and existing card limit and he told it can be approved for me and put the application for the approval.

Did you also have existing account with wealth management status or something?

I have existing privilege banking account which is zero balance because of existing credit card have more than 4L limit.
I don't use it much.
Person just asked whether I have any savings account or not..
Otherwise a savings account needs to be opened but not necessarily a wealth or any other high MAB account..

Thank you. I do have privilege account mentioned but not from savings. Have 2 LTF cards Sapphiro and Apay with roughly 7L limitsl each. Though I haven't decided if I want another card right now given how similiar this is to Infinia in usage patterns but with lesser redemption options.

I spoke to a BM here in Patna (working from home). He mentioned, to my surprise, that EPM card is yet to be approved for anyone in this part of the region and that it's a bank policy. I am pretty sure this is a lame excuse. Let me know if there is anyone who can validate this.
Also, is opening a savings account mandatory for getting EPM card? (Spoke to a RM from other state and he mentioned this, I have ICIC credit cards but no account as such)

Regarding account opening.. ishop portal can only be accessed via internet banking so to utilize ishop portal it is required to have account.

How much time it take to approve the Addon cards on EPM metal ? Completed the vKYC on monday, still no response or update.

I am also in Patna. I got my EPM card approved more than a year ago. I was also doing WFH. This is all excuses. I might be the first one in this region who got this card.
