SBI Credit Card Query

What is the maximum number of SBI credit cards an individual can hold? I currently have SimplyClick and SimplySave. Applied for SBI cashback twice but got rejected. Maybe because I'm already holding 2 cards? Does anyone here owns more than 2 SBI credit cards?

Upgrade one card to SBI CB. SC & SS similar segment cards, why keep both? Drop an email to SBI Cards and ask them to upgrade.

Yes, some have 3 cards with SBI.

Does SBI entertain upgrade requests easily? I don't think they're going to upgrade from SimplyClick or Save to Cashback that easily.

Are you sure ? I never heard sbi upgraded any card to CB also they denied my request multiple times

u can have 3 cards. no upgrade to cashback card is not possible. u have to keep trying for that.

Close simply save and transfer limit to click
Close your unused cards, wait 6 months then apply for cb

No, one of my friends' relatives got the card this way

They will not do it easily, but as they are not issuing the card separately, you can mention the point that you are not asking for a separate limit. After closing, one no guarantee that they will issue CB

He was trying for 6 months, then he dropped an email to RBIO that SBI is not issuing the card, and also not upgrading the card after a lot of back and forth, they finally did that. @drvirag I have not tried and tested this method but he is happily using the card as per my friend.
