There's some way to enable it for Non-Samsung phones too, but I haven't really explored them.

Yes, you need a samsung phone for clean way.
There also also mods of Samsung Health Monitor app available, which is dirty way and something definitely not recommended.

Also, for BP, you need a timely calibration with Samsung Health Monitor.
