Scapia Credit Card Now Open to All Federal Bank Users: Here is Why It is a Must-Have!

I currently don't have any Rupay cards. Should I get the rupay scapia one for UPI payments? I already have AU Ixigo for 0 forex and DCBM etc, so international (Didn't face much issues with DCBM acceptance on 2 trips) is mostly covered. Or is there any other better card for UPI payments?

UPI payments covered under this for the Rupay variant?
No harm in getting one as that gives you an added flexibility. And secondly, if you use your Scapia coins then Rupay card gives you Scapia coins even on small expenditures

The Scapia Federal Bank RuPay credit card offers the following "Scapia Coins" on your spending:
* 5% rewards on all UPI and RuPay spends of ₹500 or more. This is a complimentary benefit of the RuPay variant.
* 10% rewards on all other eligible online and offline spends (excluding specific categories like rent, EMI, forex, education, etc.).
* 20% rewards on travel bookings made through the Scapia app (flights, hotels, buses, trains).
Important Redemption Value:
* 5 Scapia Coins = ₹1
This means the actual value back you get is:
* 1% value back on UPI/RuPay spends of ₹500 or more (5% coins * (₹1 / 5 coins) = 1%).
* 2% value back on other eligible online and offline spends (10% coins * (₹1 / 5 coins) = 2%).
* 4% value back on travel bookings made through the Scapia app (20% coins * (₹1 / 5 coins) = 4%).
So, while the rewards are advertised in "Scapia Coins," it's crucial to remember the conversion rate when calculating the actual monetary benefit.
