Ok, here I am new to the whole world of stock market and stuffs.. I have got a lot of insights in all the responses in this thread.. Great work to all of you guys..
I have got a clear idea of MFs now and as an beginner, I want to start my MF journey. I have pickup hand full of MFs to invest in as SIPs as a long term basis. So my question is should I directly go for an AMC or should I go through 3rd party apps.. Is there any major difference?
I hold HDFC preferred acc.

What's in your List ?

Nippon - large
Hdfc - flexi and focused
DSP - elss
Icici - FOF
Any plan out of this 4 AMC in near future?
If not create folio via AMC login, then attach with preferred banking. All done.✅ 👍.
Upto 4-5 AMC is manageable comfortably via direct login.
Plan - Direct Growth

Yup planned for direct growth only.
Thank you for your valuable inputs..

One more question.. May be in six months time, if I want to start trading then what's the choice?

What kind of trading?
Assuming equity delivery based - Zerodha is a good option for 0 brokerage but as you have preferred banking with HDFC you can check with them, it will help you in total TRV and to get good cards. Moving funds is not required.

Bank RMs/Employees will not help you get the Direct Plan. Be sceptical whenever you use their services. My 2 cents.
