If You Could Design the Ultimate Co-Branded Credit Card...

1. Where's the Ghibli?
2. This should be in collaboration with ICICI because that's where @Technfino got his first card from 🙂

Interesting thread.

My idea of co-branded card would be for Gig Economy workes...India has around 1 Million gig workers and they are always in need of money. Basically the salary they get after the month-end, can be made available to them during the month so they can take care of daily expenses.

Zomato, Swiggy, Uber, Ola, Zepto can come together to create a co-branded card with (ICICI/HDFC ? not sure on which bank would be willing to collaborate).

Card limit could be same as the 2X or 3X average earning of the gig-worker in last 6 month. Other parameters to judge would be their consistency of delivering orders (or say rating).

Risk of defaults needs to be carefully taken into consideration before designing such a card.

But I am sure it will be a HIT among gig workers community since I know most of them borrow money at exorbitant rates from their local shops etc. and at the end of month, they are just paying the interest to them after getting their wages

So what kind of spends are you looking at for the Gig workers to be rewarded for? Or would you advice a co-branded card with, say, a Fiverr!
