Axis TravelEdge Experience Booking Query

Hi Guys,

I am planning for my upcoming trip to UK and was booking a 3 day tour "Ediburgh: Isle of Skye, Highlands and Loch Ness 3-Day Tour" for 2 adults from Timberbush Tours.


There are 3 options available for this booking which includes :
1. Tour Excluding Accommodation(costs INR 58,831)
2. Double/Twin/Family B&B(costs INR 1,09,105)
3. Tour with Single B&B(costs INR 1,30, 498)

I am planning on booking the 2nd one which should be including the accommodation, before booking I checked with Timberbush Tours team who is the service provider about the package and they mentioned that accommodation won't be included in this and needs to be paid directly.

I replied to them that I am selecting the package which includes the accommodation to which they responded that they don't recommend to book the package with Axis as they are not associated with this agent and might not acknowledge the booking and rather encouraged to book the package with Viator, Get Your Guide, Abbey Tours, Civitatis, Gio Scotland, Scottish Tours, Project Expedition or directly through them.

I definitely wanted to book this with Axis considering 5X accelerated edge miles using Atlas but don't want a situation where they don't acknowledge the accomodation and ask to pay extra during the tour which would directly be a loss of around 60K.

I already have contacted Axis for this but they are not sure and telling that we would require to check the same with our backend team on why the tour operator is discouraging to use Axis portal.

Any suggestions, shall I ask Axis to include the service provider in the mail and first get a confirmation that accommodation would be included if I book the 2nd option? Or drop Axis and rather book it using GetYourGuide/Viator?

But with atlas why do you worry about booking via Travel Edge, You can book directly on the airline or hotel portal?

I tried with Air India to book this tour, but it redirects to GetYourGuide, so it won't be fetching 5X as the MCC would be of travel agency instead of an Airline/Hotel

Axis Traveledege partners with someone like get your guide to sell such packages.... Axis does not sell directly, hence Timberbush does not recognise it.

You can call traveledge helpline and confirm the backend tour provider... If it is get your guide, then go ahead and book. No issues

And it is a good deal as it provides 24% on M4B and 10% on Atlas
 
I see full refund terms, you can just book and see the service provider. You will have time to verify.
Again they are contradicting here, if you see my screenshot in Refundable they have mentioned as "Not Applicable" which I would assume means refund not possible but in Cancellation Terms they have mentioned "You can cancel upto 6 days before the experience starts".
