So, in general, more credit cards helps to increase credit score. (Obviously if we pay dues on time).

Update from my side my cc utilisation reduced from 36% to 20% in last 2-3 months. Yet, the score remain same 783 (now).

Also, I feel because my cc utilisation reduced substantially but not the personal loan liability (even though PL also reduced but not at same speed). Therefore, it's now more skewed towards PL perhaps that's the reason it's not benefitting much to my score at this point.

The it won't improve. Reduce all card usage to below 30%
That's not possible for me at the moment.

But the point I was making is... the impact of cc utilisation won't be felt if we have proportionate other loans. Because even with utilisation rising to (till about) 60% from 5% I have seen score also rising from 750 to 770.

Perhaps because it was balancing with my other type of loan (i.e., unsecured personal loan in my case).
