I got email from indusind bank that they introduce new charges for points redemption

Information on Reward Points Redemption Program Changes
With effect from 1
st April 2025, following revisions will be applicable on reward points redemption
using your IndusInd Bank Credit Card:
 For Reward Points redemption against Cash Credit on IndusMoments portal, a revised fee of
Rs. 149 + GST will be applicable.
 Fees on ‘twid - Pay With Rewards’ program will be applicable on each transaction for reward
points redemption as mentioned below:
twid – Pay With Rewards Slabs Fees
Reward Points redemption up to 200 points Rs. 10 + GST
Reward Points redemption from 201 to 500 points Rs. 15 + GST
Reward Points redemption above 501 points Rs. 20 + GST
Reward Points redemption for any flights Rs. 50 + GST
 Revision in Reward Points Redemption on ‘twid - Pay with Rewards’ program, threshold to be
reduced from 2
nd transaction onwards from 15% to 12.50% on travel & 10% on other
categories.

 Customers can redeem only 50% of their total Reward Points balance against cash credit
redemption. This will be an additional filter along with the product level monthly capping for
reward points redemption against cash credit. Customers will be able to redeem reward
points whichever is lesser, either 50% of the reward points balance or the monthly capping on
reward points redemption against cash credit

They are developing expertise on decreasing credit card market share. Didnt know a bank needed one of those.
 
trying to use them on jio for recharge. for 3599 recharge it shows 719 discount but on final page it only redeems 293. i think they already made the changes way before 1st april

bHAIYO i cant find any option to redeem the reward points of rupay platinum credit card of indusind, from where we get the option to redeem the reward points in form of cashback directly into statement, only then we get the value of 1 RP = Rs 0.70 ?

Is this applicable for indusind visa signature debit cards as well? since these DCs can earn points on spends.
 
This bank has lost its mind when it becomes to credit cards. The only 2 good cards left from them are EazyDiner Signature and Pioneer Heritage Metal
 
Slowly reasons reduce to have an indusind credit card day by day
I believe most of us retain IndusInd credit cards primarily because they allow premium savings accounts to operate as zero-balance accounts. Honestly, the bank can continue with all the devaluations it wants—since most of us don’t use these cards for rewards anyway. But the day it delinks its credit cards from savings accounts, it will effectively signal the end of its credit card business.
