Looking for some help and suggestions from experienced folks here.
My wife and I recently visited the nearest Bank of Baroda to open a joint savings account. We specifically filled out the application together and requested that it be a joint account with both our names, contact details, and email IDs.
However, to our surprise, what we received is nothing close to what we asked for:
It’s almost as if the bank opened an individual account, completely ignoring the joint account application we submitted.
I’ve already drafted a complaint letter to the Branch Manager requesting them to correct this and reissue all relevant materials with both names. But asking the community whether it is expected or what are the things I should check?

However, to our surprise, what we received is nothing close to what we asked for:
- The chequebook has only my name printed on it.
- The passbook and debit card are also issued in just my name.
- Only one mobile number has been linked to the account.
- And worst of all, neither of our email addresses were registered with the account.
