SC Smart Cashback Query

Can anyone clarify SC smart cashback related query..

Do we earn cashback per statement like Ace?? or Monthly (Like transactions are calculated from 1st of every till end of the month)

In website (Get 2%* cashback on all your Online spends, up to a maximum of Rs 1000 per month.) but not sure is it for real!

Like if we save the card on gpay and do transactions offline how much cashback will we receive? 1% or 2%?

Also that wallet load trick is not working now, right?

Can't save this card on gpay or other apps to use using NFC. Able to complete whole process but at the end it will fail while saving card.

It only works with Samsung Pay, stupid selection of app from the Bank's end considering it only works on Samsung phones.

My SC Smart card is due for renewal in June 2025. Have spent around 4 lakhs last year. However I want to close the card. Around Rs 770 cashback is there which I can't redeem now as it can be redeemed only in batches of Rs 2500. So what can be the solution to get the cashback and close the card?
Update: I contacted SC customer support , they informed cashback amount need to be Rs 2500 else balance cashback amount will be forfeited on closure or downgrade.

Because those spends will be diverted to DCB now.

yep, that is the only way or leave that cashback.

as mentioned many times this card needs 1.25L in year (which is must becoz then only u can redeem cashback, even LTF) and 1.2L is the fee waiver, so no point to ask LTF because u anyway need to spend 1.25L to get cashback in account.

SC is very smart with these limits, and same applies any card that ask min. points or cashback..

here is what happens when u close it but lets say 1200 pending cashback..

- it will stay forever untill you get the same card again and spend remaining to make 2500.

SC separates rewards, cashback for each card and they're there until redeem.
