HDFC Savings Max charging SMS alert charged?

Hey guys can you tell me I just mistakenly withdraw 5000rs and my balance went down to 20508 from 25508rs. But within 10 minutes I made the balance back above 25k in my hdfc savings max account. Will bank would charge me any penalty for this

They calculate MAB based on end of the day(EOD) balance at 11:59:59 pm everyday. For HDFC this is true, may not be true for other banks.

bade bade deshon mein aisi choti baatein hoti rehti hain...Nothing to worry....Even if your balance is low for few days, private banks will ignore

Today, HDFC on their own have reversed the earlier debit of Rs 1.42 (yes, Rs 1.42 only) charged towards InstaAlert SMS charges in my SBMax account.

I did not write to them, nor spoke to them.
It's the same for me they have refunded Rs .48 on 8th oct
They charged for oct2023 and refunded October 2024😂😂😂
Intrest free money for a month

Mandatory SMS alerts are FREE as per RBI guidelines...Disable Insta Alerts (These are not mandatory alerts...These alerts are daily balance alerts etc)
Kindly quote or give links of RBI guidelines where it's mentioned that mandatory SMS is free.

What are the charges for Savings max account for cash deposit using cdm?
Savings max allows maximum 1L per day deposit at CDM and max. 2L per month without any extra charges. After that Rs.5/1000 deposit.

There is also limit of 5 cash deposit txn after which you are charged flat Rs.150+GST for every deposit. So it is no. of times based and amount based.

Suppose you deposit 10K 5 times. Now your free limit of month for 5 cash txns is over. Above this, for every deposit you will pay Rs.150+18% GST till 2L.

Ex: Your free txn of 5 are over in the month then you deposited Rs.50K 3 times. So you will be harged Rs.150x3+ 18% GST every time. Now your 2L limit is also breached. After this you deposited Rs.50K which will charge you Rs.150+GST and Rs.5 per 1000 i. 5X50000/1000 = Rs.250 + GST totalling Rs.400+GST = 472.
