Why Did Amazon Pay Voucher Disappear from SBI SimplyCLICK Rewards Portal

I’m reaching out to see if anyone else is facing this strange issue.


My mother holds an SBI SimplyCLICK credit card and has accumulated over 1 lakh reward points. Earlier, Amazon Pay vouchers were clearly visible and redeemable under the rewards catalogue. However, for the past few weeks, Amazon vouchers have mysteriously vanished from the redemption options.
There’s no official notification, no clarity on whether it's temporarily removed, out of stock, or permanently discontinued.

Key Details:​

• Card Type: SBI SimplyCLICK
• Reward Points: 1,00,000+
• Issue: Amazon Pay vouchers not showing
• Previously visible: YES
• Currently visible: NO
• Tried on: Desktop + SBI Card app

❓I’m wondering:​

• Is SBI silently removing Amazon vouchers from SimplyCLICK?
• Is this happening for others too — or is it a glitch with my account?
• Are there any workarounds to redeem the points for Amazon purchases? Please share your experience or insight if you’ve faced the same issue or found a solution

Have you contacted and discussed the same issue with the customer care? What did they tell you?

You should be able to redeem against statement at same rate. That is as good as amazon voucher if not better.

It used to be same 20 to 25 paise per point. But I have not done for sometime. Please call customer care to place request. Push them to give same rate as they have moved amazon voucher.

I think simply click points cannot be redeemed as statement credit

Swiggy gift voucher is also vanished from their portal.
They are removing useful gift voucher options one by one.

Same for me. Earlier I contacted the bank for converting my reward points to cash. They denied saying it's not a feature available for SimplyClick card. I used to get amazon gift voucher as those were the closest to cash. Now they have removed this option as well.

Only somewhat useable option is myntra gift card now.

They are removing useful gift voucher options one by one.

Swiggy is now available. I can only see below given brands only. Is it same case for all?

• Amazon Prime
• BookMyShow
• Cleartrip
• Myntra
• Netmeds
• Swiggy
• Yatra

Use SBI SimplyClick only when there is any upfront discount, never even look at the reward points. Redeem for the best available option.
I gave up on SimplyClick rewards after their Random Reversal for Upfront Discounts Policy. Possible only if the card is LTF. The card is no longer worth as a paid option in any case.
