Your oldest open credit account affects your credit score positively. For this and this purpose only which LTF CC will you consider most suitable for yourself and why? Non Branded preferred.
💳 Years ago I closed my 'fisrt CC' after only using it for 7-8 months. I have just started using my own named CC again recently from 9-10 months. I personally do not prefer collecting CC and reward hustling for unplanned spends, but definitely planning putting recurring spends on appropriately rewarding CC. I use SBI CB CC for online. Use father's AXIS (base reward 1.5%) for offline. Thanks to this wonderful community and Technofino I am aware that, according to my spending profile I should get HSBC Live+ for offline , AXIS airtel or PhonePe SBI Card SELECT BLACK for utility. But my specific question is which LTF CC to have for decades to come just the sake of having oldest open credit account? Because I will definitely close SBI CB once it devalues enough.
Inputs from anybody having super old credit account would be appreciated. (e.g. Like if i rememebr correctly my father may have same CC number since 1998, just variant changes. Another Citibank to Axis but same CC number )
🙏Thank you for suggestions in advance if I fail to thank individual comment.
