What is Your Must Have App?

newIntern

TF Premier
I recently received notification from Tata about their 9.1% rate FD offering, so I started digging about it on the forum & learnt about stable money app, it seems like most of you love it & so far havent found anything negative, so I guess I will use that for my FDs.

This got me curious about what other apps I might not be aware about, Ii search on forum and havent found any dedicated post for it. so I thought I should create one.

my must have app is

1. Google Sheet.

I started using it around 2 years ago & it has been a blessing, I use to manage all my spending, keep track of CC CB and last dates for bill payments, its also useful if I want to check for how much I bought something for a long time ago.

What is your favorite and must have app?

you are right, the list of cons is bigger than the pros, at least if you are young and love to tweak your phone. for most parents iphone are better. you dont have to worry about them installing a malicious APK. OTP share ke liye toh you have to educate them.

about the comparison is not that simple, because no one is actually using vanilla Android, the experience of using an android phone will depend upon if you are using oppo Android, oneplus android, motorola android or samsung android. because real vanilla android is very bare bone.

but in general, if you want me to compare an average non-rooted android and a ios device then.
I love the parallel app update ios offer, I like to keep my phone and apps updates, and for the longest time android only allowed you to update a single app at a time, I am aware that now android also allow parallel update but i think it is still limited to 3 apps at a time.

The camera in general is more reliable in iphones, it dosent matter if you are using their camera app or a third party app like insta or snapchat, iphone camera just work, with android you can never be sure, since almost anyone phone with any camera sensor or any processor can use these third party apps it makes the optimization for developers an impossible task.

ios in general is less pushy about their apps, they are just there to use, if you dont wanna, then done. but in my android phones they keep nudging you about their "Great app".

apple is better in privacy in comparison with most google product.

I love how restrictive apple is about the permission a app can have, I just wish we get a feature by apple and android to restrict contact permission to selected contacts only. I hate that its either all or none.

i also love apple's shortcut app, I have set quite a few automation link to make my life easy, with android I had a lot more flexibility but sometimes the experience is buggy and not reliable.

if you will like to read more, then I will share my blog post with you, I used to be an power android user and used to hop roms weekly, so I had a lot of fun with my android, and now from past 1 year I am exclusively using iphone so I am working on a post about my experience.
