I work at an advertising agency. When I initially joined as an intern, I received an offer letter under the name of the parent company, which is empanelled with HDFC Bank. Now, as a full-time employee, I’ve been internally moved to one of the subsidiary companies owned by the parent company.
I recently visited HDFC Bank to convert my savings account into a salary account. However, my ID card now reflects the name of the subsidiary company. The bank representative mentioned that as long as the offer letter or ID card has the parent company’s name on it, they can proceed with the conversion.
My question is: would it be an issue if I used my original offer letter (which has the parent company's name) to convert the account? I'm concerned about any potential problems if the bank carries out a verification process later. I want to be sure everything is compliant and won't raise any red fl
