I did not check sbi epay. But look at this screenshot. Should I buy gift cards? Nowhere its written that I can't use balance. Instead its asking me to add money and pay.

I think that radio button is disabled..

Add money here may mean “ using Amazon Money” .. need more info before you can proceed

Apay -> Muncipal Tax -> GHMC -> PTIN -> Pay Now -> Show more ways to pay

I think radio button is grayed because I don't have sufficient money in wallet. On clicking 'add money to pay', I am being asked to add 13500 only to wallet. My bill is 15k+. So, its taking wallet gift card balance into consideration.

Postponed plan to buy GC to 31.03.2024 around 5pm. 1st April is my SBI CB card bill generation date. It will take T+1 days for this txn to settle. So, this txn will be billed after 30 days. If tax pay via GC fails then I can use these vouchers for other bills payments in April. I won't be disheartened then. Will use APay card for 1% then.

Also, got AMAZON PAY INDIA PRIVATE as merchant name which I am sure will give 5% (got 5% in previous txns for same merchant name).

Updated in tax portal too.

I can see 5% tax rebate on GHMC (full year).
But when I try CDMA Hyderabad, I see no tax rebate & payment is only for 6 months.

Any idea how to pay CDMA Hyderabad (Nizampet Municipal corp) with apay balance

You can change the amount in amazon, Enter the whole amount of 1 year property tax and try.

Exactly, It worked fine for GHMC but not for CDMA
