upi - credit card transaction getting rejected.

hi,

I am very new to credit card world.

i wanted to pay my kids school fees using credit card.

they accept only bank transfer/upi

when using credit card on upi apps like amzn and gpay it says : not acceptable for this kind of transaction.


what are my options? or the credit card is not the way ??

any workarounds to move money from credit card to my account or any others persons account.

rupay credit card when used for UPI can only be used on merchant registered UPI IDs not personal UPI IDs

School fees payment via third party does not provide reward point, you can use credit card to complete the milestone via pos/ payment gateway if school have registered for one, that would probably be your best bet for receving reward points

I paid school fees of 85k through kiwi upi, although I haven’t received any rewards but yeah paid the amount via cc upi

I think the payment method not accepted by the school. Nowadays in lot of places UPI credit card not accepted by the merchants showing - the merchant not accepting this method like that but normal UPI will work.

So you can add money to wallet using the credit card and then pay using the wallet. But there will be a convenient fee for this (min 2.36%).

And on MobiKwik directly or using the same above method you can add 1K.
