Tried for ICICI emerald private metal but only eligible for Times black ... What to do?

Hi,

Tried for ICICI EPM but not eligible. However Timesblack is offered with 20k fees+GST.
RM is saying use timesblack and then i can try for EPM. Please suggest if I can go ahead with Timesblack.

P.S.: Already holding HDFC DCB metal, Axis atlas, ICICI Sapphiro, Amex plat travel.

Currently i have epvc with 30l cl, they not giving me epm, saying the same not eligible and ppop s**t haha.

Times black they say I can get anytime, but i didnt get it yet.

If you have the need for times black with the new ishop website, then only get it. Your RM might change or some other stuff, and you will get stuck with a blank promise.

yes. only good thing i see is the ishop portal for vouchers/hotels. Not able to decide.

Timesblack is never offered, whenever you have any icici card, if you apply timesblack you will definitely get it.

I am 3 L behind you on CL 😂

I have 27 L on EPM & 18 L ( After recent LE ) on other ICICI credit cards.

About times black, I agree with you. Unless you can fully utilize times black card on ishop, don't take it. It will not be beneficial & there is no guarantee that RM will keep his/her words later on. You will stuck with 23k plus card including taxes.

If you don't fulfill salary/ITR criteria, just wait for pre approved EPM. If you have 10 L plus CL, pre approval will come sooner or later.

Others also give good suggestions. But the final decision will be yours.

Also, its a sleak black metal card - hope you are not dreaming about it at night 😀
