SBI Card Suggestion on SBI Credit Cards

Hi All,

I am planning to appy for SBI cobranded credit card but I have couple of queries,
1. This is my first SBI CC that I am going to apply, Can I apply for Core SBI cards after getting cobranded card? Does SBI allow?
2. Are Cobranded Cards not eligible for Amazon and Flipkart offers?
3. Which co branded card between Tata nue and Phonepay is best to get staretd with?
4. Which core card among Simply Save, Simply Click and BPCL is best?

1. SBI (unlike the great HDFC) doesnt do that core vs cobranded drama. Infact once u get any SBI card u will get spammed by agents calling u for getting their simplysave/simplyclick after few months.
2. SBI's reward point based cobranded cards(like Tata neu, BPCL) r applicable for Amazon/fk discount. I have SBI Tata neu infinity and it worked in last month and this month's amazon/fk sale. The cashback based cards like SBI CB is not applicable. Not sure about SBI Phonepe. (Maybe others in this group who recently got the phonepe card can verify)
3. Both Tata neu and Phonepe cards r good. Depends on ur spending patterns. If u r a heavy spender in the Tata ecosystem then go for TNI. Otherwise phonepe.
If u want to milk out the best out of SBI cards then SBI Cashback+ TNI/BPCL octane/Phonepe would be a killer combo. Although u wont get any of them LTF in the beginning but SBI is quite generous in LTF conversion if u use them regularly for a year or 2.

I am using sbi cb + sbi aurum, base reward 1% on both.

Yes repeated business model to buy tata products in all their group apps
Tata products r sometimes cheaper in some locations. In my area bigbasket and 1mg give better discounts than other ecom/quick comm. sites. So I use my SBI TNI for all my other Amazon/fk/zepto purchases through purchasing gift cards from Tata neu and use those 5% neucoins earned at BB/1mg/croma. So it depends on one's spending pattern and local area discounts.

Basically, i don't like to be trapped in tata system, earlier used hdfc tata neu infinity but whatever reward we get is always getting utilised in overpriced products, so closed that card and now using only dcbm from hdfc
You spoke my mind.
Due to hype i applied for TNI but got only TN+ LTF.
It's the less used CC among my other 17 cards.
Have to get rid of it

Never found cheaper than zepto or instamart, always there is a price gap for regular products.

Like i said it depends on the local area discount. It might be different in ur area. I have been ordering all medicines/supplements for myself/family from 1mg for last 2years. I have always found them cheaper than those in netmeds/pharmeasy/Amazon pharmacy etc. Likewise in croma/BB also I have found that after 10% neucoins discount the prices r cheaper when compared to other sites. U also get 5% for bill payments(once my airtel axis card's Rs 2500 limit is exhausted). I make big purchases specifically during 1st week of everymonth to get additional 250 neucoins for spends above rs.2500 (over and above the already 10% neucoins). Like somebody said in some other TF thread "if u have to think where to utilize ur neucoins then these Tata neu cards r not for u". I always end up using all my neucoins within 1 week of earning them.(not to mention this is one of the few cards which give 1.5% even on emi spends on Amazon/fk)
